WHY ARE YOU LYING TO US? The P1000 was GARBAGE since it was release in 2018. Nikon used 90% of the P900 elements to make the P1000, why do you think that the price of the P1000 was the same as the P900? They used the same miserable 1/2.3 sensor that is in the P900 so If you take the lens out the rest of the camera is a toy. You can put a 25,000mm zoom lent on a camera but is you have a 1/2.3 sensor your picture will still be garbage. The image starts degrading beyond 30 - 40 ft, low light image or video are trash, slow motion lacks and resolution is 1080p in 2024 those specs are outdated so why are you recommending this garbage? ARE YOU GETTING PAID FOR IT?

Well clearly the earth consists of an flat plane it's says after 3 miles you can see the curve how tall is the ship almost 9 miles away 8.699miles is 14km

Great video. The P1000 was on my list for so long until i discovered the P950 and thats the one im going to buy. Sacraficing the zoom sure but given my old cmera is a x24 zoom and the p950 is x83 im still gonna be impressed and it will so much easier carrying the thing 😄 Im also amazed that there is no upgrade in over 4 years.

Don't believe the over horizon and fata morgana BS, that ship has a mirror effect, meaning, the water is quite calm out where it is and the waterline is higher than your eyes can register, that gives the hovering effect and if water was a tad choppy, you'd see no mirroring, just the appeatance of hovering.... Many will try to fool you, just to hide the truth of our true earth... Grubs are all they are and L hope their kids hate them for what they perpetuate... Watch in videos for sunglare, if there is any, it must be line of sight, also be weary of their refraction claim.... I shoot 30 miles across calm water and I assure you all, there is never any curve detected..

The earth is rounded over a distance of 100 km, approximately 800 meters. Of these 800 meters, for a person 1.8 meters tall, about 600 meters are hidden behind the horizon. I created a 3D simulation, almost with your parameters. Where the camera stands at an altitude of 135 meters, and at a distance of 100 kilometers, there is a pyramid with a height of 627 meters. With these parameters, only 250 meters are hidden behind the horizon. So about 350 meters of the island should definitely be visible to you. It's not that little, but it's not that much either. Shoot something simpler. With an ideal plain, at a distance of 50 km, the earth curves by 213 meters, of which approximately 120 meters should be hidden behind the horizon. This is a 40 storey building.

Thanks for your video. I bought the first P1000 in my city. I have lived these years surprising people with my photos. I have no more secrets than those that any restless photographer would use, tripod, selection of parameters, knowledge of the capabilities of photographic equipment, and this model has given me more than I expected. My hope has been that NIKON would surpass the P1000, but so much time and business trends have made me lose hope. Maybe Canon, Sony or Linux will pick up the baton.
